During the month the day 8 will arrive at their greatest length, and the Sun his greatest southern declination.— he is in the Sign Sagittarius, and will be until the 2ld lOh p.m., when he enters Capricorn, and we have the longest day. The length of day on the Ist will be about I4h 68m, and on the 16th, about 15h 12m. The midnight sky is pleasing, notwithstanding the absence of the planets visible to the naked eye, except Saturn. The Phases of the Moon Will be— Full Moon Id lOh Last Quarter New Moon First Quarter Full Moon 35m p.m. 51m p.m. 45m a.m. 12m a.m. 30m a.m. 8d ih I6d 5h 24d llh During the month there will be two Full Moons, The Moon will be nearest to the earth 3d 3h p.m., and at greatest distance 19d 9h a.m. Mercury-4d lOh p.m, in superior conjunction with the Sun; 5d 4h a.m, in conjunction with Jupiter j Mercury 1 deg 30m south ; 5d 9h, Mercury In aphelion : led 8h p.m, in conjunction with the Moon; Mercury, 2deg 51m north, and on the 20d 7h a.m, at greatest heliocentric latitude south. Venus —7d 8h a.m, at greatest heliocentric latitude north, and 15d Ih p.m, in conjunction with the Moon; Venus 6deg 40m north. Mars Is a morning star, rising about 2h 30m a.m, and on the 12d 3h p.m, will be in conjunction with the Moon ; Mars sdeg 9m north. Jupiter is concealed in the glare of the Sun; 5d 2h a.m, in conjunction with the Sun; and on the 16d Ih p.m, in conjunction with the Moon; Jupiter 6deg 30m north. Saturn is an evening star, on the meridian about 6h Ssm p.m, and on the 22d Ih a.m, in conjunction with the Moon; Saturn Odeg 55m south. Uranus on the 'Meridian about 5h a.m, having 14deg of north declination. Neptune on the Meridian about 9h 15m p.m, having nearly lldeg of north declination. WANTED, a Nurse Girl. Apply to Mrs A.
