Wednesday, November 15. For Southern Ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 11.35 a,m; late letters, 11.55 a.m; railway, 12.25 p.m. train. For Wellington and Nelson, per Arawata, at 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Thursday, November 16. Mails per City of New York will close as under:— For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 5 a.m. For Continent of Europe, America, Canada, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, &c, at 5 a.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, at 5 a.m. Newspapers and books at 4 a.m. [Registered letters and money orders, Wednesday, 15th, at 5 p.m. Note. —Late letters for City of New York’s mails can be posted in the guard s van, Christchurch railway station, by 8.45 a.m. train to Lyttelton, provided each letter bears an additional single rate of postage.
