Tuesday, November 14. For Wellington, and Sydney, per Easby at 1 50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For United Kingdom, Thursday, the 16th instant. Wellington and Nelson, per Arawata. On and after the 14th instant, the mails for Courtenay and Halket Town will close at the Chief Post Office, Christchurch, at 3 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday, arriving from thence the following day at 10.45 a.m. J. J. FITZGIBBOJS, Chief Postmaster.
