“IRob Roy ” was repeated at the above Hall on Saturday evening to a good house Mrs Darrell’s rendering of Helen Maegregor was a splendid piece of acting, and drew down the loud plaudits of the audience. To night “Transported for Life” will be reproduced for the benefit of Mr and Mrs Darrell, who are leaving for the South, The high estimation in which these clever artistes are held by the playgoers of Christchurch, should secure them a crowded house, apart from the fact of the merits of the drama itself.
