October 24—Kestrel, ketch, 20 tons, Rutter, for Little Akaloa, October 24 —Margaret, ketch, 21 tons, Nelson, for Pigeon Bay. The s.s. Arawata arrived this morning at 5 a.m, after a passage of sixteen hours from Wellington. She sails South, with outward Suez mail, this afternoon at 3 p.m. The barques William Ackers and Isabella Ridley, with cargoes of timber from the Bluff, arrived this morning. A brig from the North was signalled outside the Heads when our express left; the Rio, from the Mauritius, is due, and also the Byron, from Newcastle.
