AMUSEMENTS.

CANTERBURY MUSIC HALL. The large and enthusiastic audiences which nightly assemble at the above Hall show most clearly that the drama of ‘ ‘ Transported for Life” has found great favor with the Christchurch public. As played last evening it could hardly have been otherwise, seeing that every one of the company are very efficient in their acting and pourtrayal of their various characters. The scenery and mechanical effects are produced with great truthfulness and care, and are in every way a credit to the scenic artist and mechanist. The same programme will be submitted this evening.
