ABOLITION.
LORD CARNARVON’S REPLY. Wellington, October 19. The Premier laid a telegram on the table of the House from Lord Carnarvon, re Sir G. Grey’s and Mr Macandrew’s telegrams, re abolition. The telegram says the Act was assented to on the advice of the Law Officer of the Crown, and cannot be disallowed.
