CHKISTCHUKCH. Friday, October 6. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, 8.M., A. Lean, and Percy Cox, Esqrs, J.P.'s.J Drunk and Disorderly.—George Brown charged with being drunk and resisting the police, was fined 20s. Thomas Elliott and Robert Eobertson, for drunkenness were each fined 10s; and Wm Tracey 20s. Four inebriates, who appeared for the first time, were each fined ss; one 2s, and the others Is 6d cab-hire. Drunk and Committing a Breach of the Peace. George Newman, charged with being drunk and striking a man in Cashel street, was fined 10s. Sureities of the Peace.—An application by Ellen Johnston applying to have Thomas Ryan bound over to keep the peace was dismissed in the absence of the parties. LYTTELTON. Friday, October 6. (Before W, Donald, Esq, R.M.) Drunkenness.—Peter Cumming, arrested by Counstable Mcintosh, was fined 5s for this offence.
