The Moon will be nearest to the earth lid 2h a.m, and at the greatest distance, 24d 9h p.m. The length of day on the Ist, 12h 22m; and on the 15th, about i3h 3m. , Mercury—ld lh p.m. will be stationary; 13d 5h p.m., in inferior conjunction with the sun, 17d 8h a.m. in conjunction with the moon. Mercury 2 deg 14m south, IBd 8h a.m. in and on 29d 7li a.m. at greatest elongation, 18 deg 3lm went. Venus—l2d 9h p.m, in ascending node, and on the 14d 7h a.m. in conjunction with the moon. Venus ldeg 16m south. Mars- 16d 5h a.m, in conjunction with the moon. Mars 2 deg 22m south. Jupiter—2od llh p.m. in conjunction with the moon. Jupiter 5 deg 40m north.
