AMUSEMENTS.
LYDIA HOWARDE BURLESQUE TROUPE. There was a larger attendance at the Music Hall last night than on the previous evening, when “The Three Musketdears” was again most successfully performed. The farce of “The Limerick Boy,” in which Mr Power enacted the part of the blundering Myles, kept the house in a continual state of laughter, and was well received by the audience. To-night the management intend to re-produce Sullivan’s “Trial by Jury,” two scenes from “The School for Scandal,” in which Mdlle Solange In avaro will pourtray the character of Lady Teazle, and “ The Three Musketdears.” With such a programme, apart from the fact of ics being for the benefit of that universal favorite Miss Is avaro, we anticipate a hearty response to the solicitations of the fair hencficiare. On Monday night we are promised another great treat, in the shape of the new burlesque “Girofle-Girofla,” which is highly spoken of both at home and in the colonies, and as the management are sparing no expense or trouble in its production, it should have a long run here.
