The following correspondence has been placed at our disposal by the secretary of the Chamber of Commerce : To James Mills, Esq., Dunedin. If no great loss to company, you will favour the mercantile community by detaining s.s. Wellington till arrival of Ringarooma, which will enable us to reply to English letters by Suez mail. The Ringarooma sails from the Bluff this evening at G o’lock, and will tranship at Port Chalmers Suez mails to s.s. Wellington, which should arrive at Lyttelton early on Monday. The agents of the s.s. Arawata have kindly arranged to detain that steamei till 6 p.m., so that replies to English letters may he sent by the outgoing mail,
