Christchurch Poultry Society.—A special general meeting of the members of the Christchurch Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society will be held at Warner’s Hotel on Friday evening, at half-past eight. Among other business to be considered, a resolution will be proposed to alter the month for holding the annual exhibition, and to keep it open for three instead of two days. It has been found that the first day is nearly taken up with the work of judging, and if the resolution is approved of, the committee will then be given ample time to complete the catalogues for the information of visitors. A full attendance of members is requested.
