AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDE TROUPE. • The burlesque of “ Masaniello ” was repeated last evening at the Music Hall, and went more successfully than on its previous representation. There was also an improvement in the singing of the choruses Miss Howarde’s rendering of “ Caller Herrin’ ” was most enthusiastically received by the audience, as was also the singing of _ Misses Navaro and Nye, who were both in good voice—the latter singing “Esmeralda” very nicely indeed. Messrs Carj, Hill, and Towle were all in good form, and contributed in no small degree to endeavour to make the piece “ take.” This evening Mr Power will take a benefit, when some Christy Minstrelsy and “Kenilworth” will constitute the programme.
