Kerosene Licenses.—The Council purposse, during thiß wt*?k, placing a list of porsono who have taken out kerosene licenses this year in the hands of the police, with a view of action being taken under the byelaw against those who are known to be selling kerosene, and have not applied for a license. U.A.O.D. —A summoned meeting of the Pioneer Lodge, U.A.O.D, was held last evening, when there was a large attendance. The by-laws which have been framed for the working of the lodge were brought up, discussed, and finally passed. We may note that this lodge, though only recently opened, is progressing very rapidly. It now numbers sixty-seven members, with a probability of an early increase.
