AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDE TROUPE. The Lydia Howarde Company again placed " Ivanhoe " on the stage last evening to a good house, the hall being well filled. The burlesque will be repeated to-night, and up to Thursday, when it will be withdrawn, and the " Beggars Opera " will be introduced to Christchurchplay-goers. As the piece has been capitally got up, and no expense on the part of the management has been spared, this play should have a successful run.
