SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, august 8. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Johnston.) His riouorsat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. "WIT..L OP EMMA TOMPKINS, DECEASED. In this case Mr Wynn Williams had applied last Chamber day for an order moderating the bond to be given herein. The matter stood over for filing an affidavit by the infant executor of his consent. This being now done, his Honor made the order as prayed. RE JAMES RANDALL MARTIN. Mr Joynt spoke as to the minutes of the decision herein, which was to the effect that the bankrupt should pay over quarterly a certain port'on of his income in reduction of his debts for five years. Mr Joynt had omitted at the time to ask for the oo3ts of the opposing creditors', which he now did. After some argument the matter stood over for Mr Joynt to issue a summons to the trustee to Bhovr oause why costs should not be paid,

OSBORNE V BANKS AND OTHERS. Mr Garrick applied for an order for payment of certain moneys out of Court to be applied in payment of a mortgage on the property to Mr Wyatt. This was a case in which the plaintiff, the widow of one John "Whale, deceased, filed a bill to compel the defendants, who were trustees under the will, to refund certain moneys diverted from the use of the plaintiff as tenant for life, A decree for sale of certain property was made by the Court, the proceeds to be devoted towards recouping the tenant for life the amounts paid by the trustees. Under this decree a portion of the property was sold, leaving a balance, after the repayment of costs, of nearly £IOOO. ihis it was now proposed to devote to paying ofl a mortgage on the property, held by Mr C. W. Wyatt. Mr Garrick for the plaintiff. Mr George Harper appeared for defend ants, and consented to the order being made, and also for an order to pay auctioneer's costs and charges. Order—Money in Court to be paid out to trustees under a condition that the amount be applied to the liquidation of mortgage on property, and also to payment of auctioneer's costs and commission. CLARK V CUMMING. On the motion of Mr George Harper, leave was given to enter up judgment herein for the amount claimed in default of plea. WILSON AND OTHERS V HALL AND OTHERS Mr G. Harper applied for an order directing payment out of Court to Sir Cracroft Wilson of the sum of £26 4s 7f d. His Honor made the order as prayed. The Court then rose.
