AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. “Nemesis” and “Box and Cox” again brought a large audience together at the Music Hall last night. In the former Misses Ilowarde and Nye eclipsed their former efforts to please, and were well rewarded by the audience, who were most prolific in their encores, “ Bid me discourse,” by the former lady, having to be repeated by her, whilst Miss Nye received a perfect ovation for her singing and acting as the young soldier. Miss Navaro was as charming as ever in the part c.f Praline, and Messrs Towle, Power, and Hill were in capital form. “ Box and Cox ” concluded the evcningVentertaimnent. To-night “Lucia di Lammermoor” will be presented, followed by the “ Limerick Boy,” and to-morrow evening “The Daughter of the Regiment” will be produced for the benefit of Miss Jepnie Nye.
