Mails per City of New York will close as under;— For United Kingdom via Sail Francisco, at 9 p.m. America, Fiji, Sandwich Islands, Continent of Europe, Northern Ports of New Zealand, at 9 p.m. Money orders up to 4 p.m. Registered and book packets, at 8 p.m. Friday, July 28. For Otago, per Wellington, at 11.35 a.m ; late letters, 11.55 a.m; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Taranaki, at 1.50 p.m ; late letters, 2.10 p.m ; railway station, i, 30 p. m. train. Saturday, July 29. Mails per Arawatawill close as under For United Kingdom, via Suez and Brindisi, at 1 p.m ; late letters, 1.20 p.m. For the Continent of Europe, at 12.40 p.m ; late letters, 1 p.m. For India, China, and the East, 12.40 p. m ; late letters, 1 p. in. For Otago and Australian Colonies, at 1 p.m ; late letters at 1.20. For registered letters and money orders — Noon. For posting packets and newspapers N oou. Late letters for the above mail can be posted in the guard’s van at the railway station up to 2.30 p.m. train, provided such letters bear, in addition to the full postage, a further single rate of postage as a late fee..
