CONTRAVEiHION OP THE GAME ACT,— Mr 8. C. Farr, hon secretary to the Acclimatisation Society, stated at yesterday's meeting that he had been informed that a man living at the Sandhills was in the habit of shooting down everything that came in his way, and that he had been known to sell pheasants for seven shillings a pair.
