AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. “La Sylphide” drew another crowded house at the Music Hall on Saturday night. The company were all in good voice, if we except Mr Cary, who was suffering from the effects of a severe cold. His singing of “Maogregor’s Gathering” was received most enthusiastically, whilst Mr Smythe was very successful in his rendering of “Afton Water.” The piece was exceedingly well played, and called forth the hearty applause of the audience. The same programme will be repeated this evening for the last time, and to-morrow night “Nemesis” will be produced on a scale of great splendour.
