Lyttelton Amateur Oddfellows’ Christy Minstrels.— These minstrels gave their third performance at the Oddfellows’ Hall, Lyttelton, on Wednesday evening. In spite of the bad weather there was a good attendance, nearly 200 being present, attracted by the admirable programme, and no doubt had it been fine the hall would have been crowded, The dancing in the second part was really good, and the sketch, entitled “The Musical Academy,” and farce, “ Sixteen Thousand Years Ago,” were performed with much spirit. The frequent applause testified to the enjoyment of the spectators during the evening.
