July 19—City of New York, s.s., 3009 tons, Cavarly, for Port Chalmers. The Union Company’s steamers, Taupo, from North, and Hawea, from South, arrived in harbour this morning. They sail for Southern and Northern ports respectively this afternoon. The P.M. Co’s R.M. steamer City of New York, with the San Francisco mail, arrived in harbour at 7 o’clock this morning. After transhipping her her passengers and mails, she left again for the South at 9 a.m.
