AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. Another full house greeted the Lydia Howarde Company at the Music Hall on Saturday night “The Waterman” and “ Chilperic” being again the bill of fare. In the former Miss Howarde and Miss Nye were all that could be desired, and were ably supported by Messrs Hill, Power, and Herberte. “Chilperic” was again most successfully played, it losing none of its prestige by its frequent repetition. To-night will be the last time of the present programme, and to-morrow evening the fairy extravaganza of “La Sylphide” will be presented. During the piece the whole of Locke’s beautiful music from “ Macbeth” will be sung by the company.
