Messrs Clifford and Koper report ou their usual weekly sale. July Bth, as follows:—Calves, 10s; pigs, weaners, 2n 6d to 5s ; small stores. 8s to l(is ; stores, lss to 325; rows, 'its to 32;; 6d; fat pigs, 23.1 to 35s Poultry, per pair— Fowls, 23 to Is Qd ; ducks, 5s to (>s ; Reese, 1b ; turkey.-, -Ik to 7s 6d. A fult supply of pigs in market, especially weauers And'small stores; only medium prices realised. lu poultry Hie supply was fair, and demand good. The tine day brought a good attendance. Mpssrs J. C. Corr and Co report ou the live stock market for tho week ending Saturday, Bth July, 1870 —At our yards at Rangiora, on Tuesday. 2.5 head of cattle. 5 horses, and 12 pigs were yarded with us for sale. The entries were on account of Messrs Taylor, Moody, Doas, Turner, and others, and tho lots were cleared at the following prices r Good condilioned two-year-olds, £6 10s ; fat heifers, £7 ss; dairy cows, from £d to £8 5s ; young stock, say from one year to fifteen months) old, from £2 lbs to £ 1 fls, which prices we considered IrMi in proportion to the prices obtained for other classes of stock. Light draught horsed brought from £ls to £2l; saddle do, from £l2 to £lB per head We might here men lion that there is a good demand for light draught horses at the above prices. We quote be<f at 27s tid per 1001 b, aud mutton at about lljd per lb.
