THE LYDIA HOWARDS TROUPE. The Canterbury Music Hall was fairly filled lssteffe.njng' tp witness the reproduction of "II TrovatoreV' certainly cue pf the best burlesques yet 'produced at this popular place of amusement. As Count de Luna, Miss Jennie Nye was unexceptionable, her rendering of the solos allotted.well deserving the warm plaudits accorded to her, while her acting was a perfect conception of the character. As Manrico, Miss Howard was very successful, though the part does not give her as much display for her talents as in the other characters in which she had appeared here. Mdlle Navaro as Leonora displayed her capabilities as an actress, her singing throughout being a thoroughly artistic ren'diftngi enkanoed by her conception cf the character. and Mr Power shared the applause of the eyening. " The Loan of a Lover" brought an entertainment, which is well worthy of a visit, to a close. The same bill will be repeated this evening. ,, T-— ————^=—^———^
