For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra, at 1.50 p.m; late letters, 2.10 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Dunedin, overland, at 3.30 p.m. For Kikoura and Wellington, per Matau, at 4.45 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, For Otago, per Wellington. Thursday, June 29. Mails per City of San Francisco will close as under ; For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 3 p.m ; late letters, 3.20 p.m. For United States of America, Canada, Fiji and Sandwich Islands, Continent of Europe, &o, at 2.40'p.m ; late letters, 3 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand at 3 p.m ; late letters, 3.20 p.m. For money orders and registered correspondence 2 p.m. Posting newspapers and books at 2 p.m. Late letters for the above mails can he posted at guard’s van, railway station, Christchurch, up to 4 p.m. The steamer is appointed to sail at 5 p.m. Important.—Late letters for the above mails must not be posted in the iron pillar receiver at the railway station.
