AMUSEMENTS.
THE LYDIA HOWARD E TROUPE. The wretched weather last evening had its effect in preventing so large an attendance at the Canterbury Music Hall as the attractive “ Fra Diavolo” deserved. The company were as successful in the rendering of the opera as previously, and Mdlle Navarro again charmed her audience by her singing and the captivating manner in which she acted as the C hief Robber. She was ably seconded by her lieutenant, Mr Power, who comically an i faithfully represented the traditional gory-minded bandit, so dear to the melodramic mind. “ Fra Diavolo” will be repeated this even* ing, for the last time.
