AMUSEMENTS.

THE LYDIA HOWARD E TROUPE. The Lydia Howarde Opera Bouffe Troupe were again favored with an overflowing bouse last evening. “Lucia di Lammermoor ” evidently “takes” with Christchurch audiences, and, considering the excellence of the singing and acting of Miss Howarde, Miss Nye, and Mdlle Navarro, it is not to be wondered at. The introduction, too, of some well-known airs from Martha and from Lucrezia Borgia gave these ladies an opportunity of showing their proficiency in concerted singing, to the gratification of the large audience present. As will be seen by an advertisement elsewhere, Fra Diavolo will be produced this evening, followed by a petite comedy.
