June 16—Beautiful Star, s.s., 146 tons, Pietersen, for Port Chalmers. SAILED. June 16—Pomona, ship, 1196 tons, Tannock, for Portland, Oregon. June 16 —Beautiful Star, s.s, 146 tons, Pietersen, for Port Chalmers. The Garonne, three-masted schooner, bound from Oamaru to Wellington, put into harbor this morning to repair, having sustained some injury to sails and rigging in a severe squall off the Peninsula, on Wednesday night last. The Garonne is under the command of Captain Carpenter. The ship Pomona sailed on her trip Oregon this morning. ENGLISH SHIPPING, The City of Dunedin, from Glasgow for Lyttelton was spoken on April 13th in 31deg N. 17deg W. Messrs Shaw, Saville, and Co’s Woosung sailed from London on April Bth for Lyttelton. Passengers—Second class: Mr A. W* Barnet, Mr J. B. Howlands, Mr A. Keeling, Mr H. W- Denby, Mr R. N. Manning, wife, and family (9). Steerage: T. G. Tett, M. W. Whatman, Sophia Whatman and family (6), T. Burne, W. Clarke. E. J. Clarke, Mrs Clarke, A. Manning, Robert Manning, and U. Martin. . , The Elizabeth Graham arrived at Gravesend on April 14th from Otago; the Invercargill arrived at Gravesend on April Ilth from Otago; the Jessie Headman arrived at Gravesend on April 12th from Otago: the Kedron arrived at Callao on March 6th rom New Zealand. The Crownthpore sailed on April 19th for Auckland; the Corlie sailed from Glasgow on April 6th for Otago; the King of Sweden sailed from London on April Bth for Otago. . „ The following vessels were loading for Otago:— Abernyte, at London; Anazi, at London; City of Cashmere, at Glasgow; Elizabeth Graham, at London; Norval, at London; W.
