CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, June 16. [B fore G. L. Lee, Esq., J.P.] Creating a Disturbance —John Finlay was brought up, .charged, with' creating a disturbance at the Bush Inn, Eiccarton. The prosecutor did not appear, and the accused was discharged. Drunk:and Disorderly. — Two inebriates who appeared for the first 'time, were fined os and 10s respectively. Larceny. —Joseph Carr, a young lad who had. been arrested at Ashburton on the charge of stealing a whip at Leeston, was remanded to the latter place.

LYTTELTON. Friday, June 16. (Before W. Donald, Esq., E.M.) Drunkenness. —Jo:eph Smith, Morgan Harper, James Cunningham, and William Dunkerley were each lined 10s, or fortyeight hours’ imprisonment. Larceny oe a Hat.— Morgan Harper was charged with the above offence by a man named Frank Messeter, and sentenced to a week’s imprisonment with hard labour. Assault. —Joseph Smith, for assaulting M. Moyryihan, was sentenced to forty-eight hours’ imprisonment with hard labour,
