Signor Rossi was to make his first appear* ance before an English audience in Italian, at Drnrj Lane Theatre, on April 19th. His opening piece will be “ Hamlet.” Signor Salvina has gone to Edinburgh, where he has appeared in “ Othello,” and has bad a cordial reception. He comes to London early in the summer. It is said that efforts are again being made to secure the appearance of Mdme. Bistori, Signor Salvini, and Signor Rossi in the same play. The plays spoken of are “ Macbeth,” with Salvini as Macbeth, Mdme. Ristori as Lady Macbeth, and Rossi as Macduff ; and ” Hamlet,” with Salvini as Hamlet, Ristori as the Qreen, and Rossi as the Ghost. gjmtismrntis. MR. G. E.
