THE DE MURSKA CONCERTS.

lo the Editor of tlte Globe. Sir,—Last evening I went, in company with some friends, to hear Mademoiselle De Murska sing at the Oddfellows' Hall and was quite charmed with the performance, but I was anything but with the frequent over-loud conversation indulged in by two gentlemen (?) sitting in reserved seats. I should have thought, from the position they occupy in society in this city, they would have shown better taste than to make jocular remarks upon the personal appearance of the performers, &c. I should have thought nothing of the matter had it not been sufficiently loud to distract my attention, and that of my friends, from what was passing on the platform. AN ADMIRER OF DECORUM. Christchurch, May 30th, 1876.
