May 30—Janett, ketch, 41 tons, McDonald, from Okain's T?ay. May 30—Arawata, s.s, 623 tous, rinderwood, from Melbourne. Passengers - saloon: Mrs Ross, Mrs Hurst, Mrs J. Stevensons, Messrs J. F. Buxton, Adams, Hdrsley, Alex, McPhee, 0. Keeton. Steerage—Edward Boss, Henry Alnett. From coast—saloon : Messrs KeilyJPunkley, Ootterell, Tanner, Hardy, Lanarch, Strode, Tolmie, Trappou, Major, Clifford, and eighteen for other ports. _ May 30—Sea Bird, bngantme, from Hokitika. May 30—Cleaner, schooner, 114 tons, from Greymouth. May 30—Byron, brig, 174 tons, Llewellyn, from Newcastle. SAILED. May 30 —Aspasia, schooner, 45 tons, Thompson, for Wellington. May 30—Easby, s.s, 967 tons, Kennedy, for Sydney. May 30—Fairlie, three-masted schooner, 177 tons, Norris, for Auckland. May 30—Island City, 421 tons, Brown, for Sydney. Passengers—Miss Barrett, Mr and Mrs J. E. K. Saunders. The fine s.s. Arawata, Capt. Underwood, arrived in harbour at 9 a. in. this morning from Melbourne, via South. She leaves for Melbourne, via North, this evening. Thes.s Wanganui, from South, arrived in port at 11.30. She leaves on her return trip to-morrow. The Byron, from Newcastle, arrived this morning, being sixteen days out. She brings a cargo of coal consigned to Messrs W. Montgomery and Co.
