POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Tuesday, May 23. To-morrow (Wednesday) being a Post Office holiday, local mails usually despatched on that day will close this day at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24. A Post Office holiday. The country and other mails will be sorted into private boxes at 9 p.m. Thursday, May 10’. For the Southern Ports of New Zealand, per Taranaki, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 p m.; railway station, 12.25 p m. train. For the Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Taupo, at 150 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Southern Ports of New Zealand per Maori, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11,55 a.m. ; railway, 12,25 p.m. train, J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster,
