Ross wa charged on information of 11, Youngman with rescuing one head cattle, seized for un pr-.utiding. Dismissed, J. Askew (two informations), J. Simmonds, G. Rossiter, L Luck, J. Ryde, and H. Youngman, wore fined 10i, and costs Is 6d, for allowing cattle to stray on roads. Civil Cases, —Blank and Kars v D. Stackwood ; £4 4s ; judgment for plaintiff by default, J, Wilson vA. Ecklaud ;£3 0s lOd ; judgment for plaintiff by default. Richardson and Co v H Seager, builder; £33 17s 9d ; adjourned to Rangiora. H Youngman v C. Ross; £1 19s lOd, for illegal charge on cattle impounded ; judgment for plaintiff, £1 and costs. J. Wilson v H. Hitchcock ; judgment summons, £1 11s; defendant ordered to pay 10s weekly, or in default undergo two weeks’ imprisonment. J. Wilson v J. Urick ; judgment summons, £1 17s9d; defendant ordered to pay 10s a week, or in default two weeks’ imprisonment. Defendant paid £1 in advance.
