The Government is to be communicated with, to learn what endowment Jthey will grant the Harbour Board, and whether they will introduce the necessary bill into Parliament, Dunedin, May 11. The Otago Education Board at their meeting this morning deferred the consideration of numerous applications for additions to school buildings and new schools, and also the appointment of teachers, owing to the Government having no funds at their disposal.
