The brig Wave for Sydney and Maggie Patterson for Wellington, produce laden, left Tlmaru on the 3rd lust. She wmt to that port for a cargo of grain for the ship Hnrunui that leaves Wellington for London on the 7th. The schooner Onward has been put on the slip to repair damages. The brig intlnc Marmion, Captain Bowton, for Wellington, produce laden, took her departure yesterday. The smart topsail schooner Mary King. Captain Hilton, cleared out Irom Tiraaruou the 4th, produce laden, for Wellington. The line s.s Kingarooma, Captain J McLean, with the Suez mail, is expected to arrive in Lyttelton on Monday. The schooner Spray from this p jrt arrived at Wellington early yesterday morning. The topsail schooner Elizabeth Curie arrived at Oamaru from tills port on May 2nd. She left here on the 25th ult. The Colima arrived in Lyttelton at 10 a.m. yesterday. Reports leaving Port Chalmers on the 4th, at 6.30 p.m, thus making the trip in sixteen and a half hours, splendid time. Took on board the outward San Francisco mail, and sailed North last night. The passengers went down to the Colima in the s.s Moa. They were accompanied by a number of their friends. A steamer was seen off the Heads yesterday, steering North. Without doubt it was the s s Kangatira, from Timaru lor Wellington, that left that port on Thursday evening, with a cargo of grain for the ship Hurunui, consisting of SGOObush. of wheat, shipped there by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. THE COUNTESS OF KINTOKE. This ship was admitted to pratique yesterday, and her passengers came on shore. COLLISION AT SEA. Captain Bonner, of the s.s Tui, reports that on the passage from Wellington, when about, thirty miles to the soutli of Cape Campbell, on Monday night, the Tui ran foul of the ketch Sarah and Mary, f rom this port bound to Hokitika, carrying away her jibboom and bowsprit. Steamed back to the ketch to ascertain the amount of damage done, and offered to tow her into a place of safety, but the master declined, replying that he could get on very well without assistance. Fortunately, no other damage was done to the ketch.

Earthquake.—A slight shock of earthquake was felt in Christchurch at a few minutes past six yesterday morning. As will be seen by our telegrams, it was also felt iB Wellington ao4 Poverty Bay.
