For Port Chalmers and Dunedin, per Hawea, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway, 12.25 p.m. train. Thursday, May 4. Mails per Colima will close at under : For the Continent of Europe, Fiji, and Sandwich Islands, British America, and the United States, 2.45 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 3p.m. : late letters, at 3.20 p. m. For Northern ports of New Zealand, at 3 p.m. ; late letters, 3.20 p.m. Posting registered correspondence, and obtaining money orders, at 2 p.m. Newspapers and book packets, for all ports, at 2.30 p. m. Late letters for mails per Colima can be posted in the guard’s van, railway station, up to 4 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
