Wednesday, April 12. For Port Chalmers and Dunedin, per Taranaki, at 11.35 am. ; late, 11.55 a.m. ; railway guard’s van, 12.25 p.m. train. For the Northern Ports of New Zealand, Per Ladybird, at 11.35 a.m. ; late, 11.55 a.m. ; railway g\iard’s van, 12.25 p.m. train.
For the Northern Ports of Now Zealand, per Taupo, at 3.20 p.m. ; late, 3.40 p.m. ; railway guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. For the South, per Wanganui, at 11.35 a.m. ; late, 11.55 a.m. ; railway guard’s van, 12.25 p.m. train, Thursday, April 13.
Local mails, usually despatched on Friday morning, will close at Christchurch on Thursday, 13th, at 8.30 p.m. For Westland, at 8.30 p.m. There will he no late mail Friday morning. - The delivery window at the Christchurch office will be open for delivery of local mails from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m. in the city can obtain their correspondence on application, as there will be no delivery by letter carriers on Good Friday. Friday, April 14. A post-office holiday. The post-office, Christchurch, will be closed. Local and other mails will be sorted into the private boxes at 9 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
