POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations; — Monday, April 10. For the Northern Ports, per Wellington, at 1.50 p.m.; late letters 2,10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.50 p.m. train. For Akaroa and-Dunedin, per Beautiful Star, at 11.35 a.m, ; late letters, 11.55 a.m. ; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. On and after Monday next, the 10th inst., mails for Timaru will close daily at 6 a.m., 10.15 a.m., and 3.30 p.m, J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
