Patching ; claim £1; judgment for defendant with costs 17s. Wednesday, April 5. (Before G. L, Hellish, Esq, R.M.) Drunkenness and Obscenity.— Frank Wellstead, for this offence, was fined 10s. Drunk and Disorderly. Elizabeth Barbour, a respectable looking woman, for being drunk and disorderly in Peterborough and Colombo streets, was fined ss, and Is 6d for cab hire, as it had been found necessary to convey her to the station in a cab. Henry Williams, for a similar offence, was fined ss. Indecency. Angus Sutherland was charged with being drunk, and with exposing himself in the public street; also with resisting the police. Fined 40s. Horse Stealing. Albert Rhode was charged 'with stealing a horse the property of Hr James Stephenson, of the Wheatsheaf Hotel, Shand’s Track. Inspector Feast applied for a remand, on the ground that there had not been time to get up the evidence since the prisoner’s arrest. Remanded for one week.
