Auckland, April 3. The ketch Fanny Kelly, the property of Captain Hoyce, was completely wrecked at Waugaroa. She was leaving for Auckland, and when between the heads the wind died away, and the tide set her on the rocks. The captain sent a man ashore in the dingy for assistance. Shortly after this the wind took the vessel off the rocks, but after getting underweigh she suddenly turned turtle, the crew getting on her bottom After six hours exposure they were rescued by a whaleboat. She was towed back to Wangaroa by the Jona, where she was sold for £l2. The Magellan Cloud arrived at Russell with four tons of sperm oil. A man named Armstrong died suddenly in a lit of delirium tremens on Sunday night. Arrived—The Jessie Henderson, from Lyttelton. Invercargill, April 3. Upon opening and examining the salmon ova received by the Arawata, at the ponds, one box supposed to contain 600 eggs, turned out ninety; another supposed to contain 1200, turned out only 280, which appeared to possess vitality.
