Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Monday, April 3. For Aharoa and Timaru, per Wanganui, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m, ; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Tuesday, April 4. For Northern Ports per Phoebe, at 1.45 p.m.; late letters, 2.10p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Nelson, per Maori, at 1.45 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m.; railway station 2.30 p.m, train Wellington and Nelson, per Arawata, at 1.45 ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m train. For Otago, Bluff and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra, at 1.45 p.m.; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2,30 p.m. train.
