Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Saturday, March 25. For Wellington, Nelson, and Sydney, per Otago, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m,; railway station 12.25 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wellington, at 11,35 a.m.; late letters, 11.55 a.m,; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train, Monday, March 27. For Akaroa and Timaru, per Wanganui, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m, train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Albion, at 4.45 p.m. Outwards English Mail via San Francisco, 6th April, Outwards English Mail, via Suez, and Southampton, Bth April J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
