POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Saturday, March 11. For Sydney direct, per Isabella, at 8 a.m. Specially addressed letters only. For London direct, per Langstone, at 11.45 a.m. Specially addressed letters only. Monday, March 13. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Ladybird, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m, train. Mails per Arawata will close as under : For Otago, at 1.50 p.m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ! ■ For Australian colonies, at 1.50 p.m,; late letters, 2,10 p.m. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, via Suez and Brindisi, at 1.20 p.m. ; late letters, 1.40 p.m. For India, China, and the East, at 1.20 p.m. Newspapers can be posted up to 1 p.m. Registered letters and money orders up to noon. Late letters for the above mails can be posted at the railway station, in the guard’s van, up to 2.30 p.m. train. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
