THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE.

To the Editor of the Glole.

Sir, —I see by the issue of your journal of tl is day the arrival of the great Minister of Justice. Is it his intention to call a public meeting of his constituents to explain his meritorious conduct since he has become their chosen representative, or is he only come to coach up his brilliant and accomplished protege in the important duties of Registrar ? Will his stay here permit of our getting up another testimonial in the shape of a piece of plate—“not china”—as a mark of consideration for the sense of justice he has evinced to the Deputy-Registrar for his long and arduous service, and the honour and emoluments of his Sancho Panza ? Yours, &c, QUIZ. February 29th, 1876.
