Informations were laid against six out of forty persons suspected of double voting at the Aarahura Road Board elections. Mr FilzGerald, R.M, dismissed three, and the other* were abandoned. The Crown Prosecutor said he must abandon the cases, in consequence of the impenetrable stolidity of Mr Byrne, and of Mr Martin, scrutineer for Michael Houlahan, but there was not the slightest doubt double voting had taken p ace extensively in the district.
