POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Thursday, February 24, For the Northern ports of New Zealand, per Hawea, at 1.50 p m. ; late letters, 2.10 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. Friday, February 25. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Albion. Saturday, February 26. For South and Australian Colonies, per Otago. The Post-office at Sumner has been removed to Terry’s store, opposite the Marine Hotel. The Suez mails for Christchurch left Melbourne in the Albion last Saturday. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
