CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, February 16. (Before G. L. Hellish, Esq, R.M.) Drunk in a Railway Carriage.— Matthew Benjamin, charged with drunkenness in a railway carriage at the Christchurch station, was fined ss, and to pay cab hire. Drunkenness —The following inebriates were dealt with:—Patrick Ahearn fined 10s ; James Smart fined 10s ; Patrick Kennedy, who was also charged with using obscene language, was fined 10s; John Shearman fined 20s ; Uhristopher Burn fined ss, and to pay cab hire ; Cornelius O’Connor fined 10s.
