Saturday, 25th December (Christmas Day), being a Post Office holiday, all mails for despatch that day will close at Christchurch on Friday, 24th December, at 7 p,m. Monday, December 27. Ship mails outward- Nil. Tuesday, December 28. For Dunedin, Bluff, and Australian Colonies, per Otago. Hour of closing in a future notice. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian colonies, per Eingarooma. Hour of closing in a future notice. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
